📝 Admission Procedure
At Muthukaruppan Memorial Arts & Science College, the
admission process is designed to be transparent,
student-friendly, and inclusive. The college welcomes students
from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and supports
first-generation learners through counseling, scholarships,
and academic bridging support.
Admissions are offered as per the guidelines of Manonmaniam
Sundaranar University and Government of Tamil Nadu norms,
strictly based on merit and eligibility.

Muthukaruppan Memorial Arts & Science College
understands that students may, for various personal or
academic reasons, seek to withdraw their admission. A
fair and transparent withdrawal policy is in place,
governed by university and government regulations.
Before Commencement of Classes

If a student applies for withdrawal before the course begins, the tuition fee is refunded (excluding processing charges).

Original certificates will be returned after written request and identity verification.
After Commencement of Classes

If withdrawal is requested within the first 15 days of class commencement, partial refund of tuition fee may be considered based on case merit.

No refund is allowed after the cutoff date set by the university.
How to Apply for Withdrawal

Submit a written request addressed to the Principal with reasons for withdrawal.

Attach a copy of fee receipt and ID proof.

Parents/guardians may be asked to attend a counseling session before final approval.
Document Return & Clearance

All dues (library, hostel, mess, etc.) must be cleared.

TC, original certificates, and refund (if applicable) will be issued after proper clearance and acknowledgment.
Transfer to Other Institutions

If a student is shifting to another college, a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and Migration Certificate (if applicable) will be issued.
Issue of Application Form

Application forms can be collected from the college office or downloaded from the official college website.

A nominal application fee is charged (free for select scholarship applicants).
Eligibility Verification

Submitted forms are verified against eligibility criteria (as per course).

Marksheets, certificates, and community/income proofs are examined.
Counseling Session

Selected applicants are called for a face-to-face or telephonic counseling session

Course selection, career goals, and financial aid options are discussed.
Provisional Admission

Once eligibility is confirmed, provisional admission is granted.

Students receive an admission slip and fee challan.
Document Submission & Fee Payment

Original documents must be submitted for verification.

Tuition fee and applicable charges are paid via cash, UPI, or DD.
Confirmation of Admission
-
Once fees and documents are received, admission is officially confirmed.

The student is enrolled on the college portal and university register.
